Wan 2.7 Image is the image generation and editing model in Alibaba's Wan (Tongyi Wanxiang) series. One model handles text-to-image, edits to an uploaded photo and multi-image references: describe a new picture, or upload images and say what should change.
Alibaba Cloud released wan2.7-image and wan2.7-image-pro on 1 April 2026 and describes both as stronger at text rendering, subject consistency and following complex instructions. Wan 3.0, generally available since August 2026, is a video model. There is no Wan 3.0 image model, so Wan 2.7 is the newest Wan model for still images.
Wan3 AI is an independent site, not an Alibaba product. We run Wan 2.7 through a third-party API, show the credit cost before you generate, and offer ByteDance's Seedream models in the same workspace.

Upload a photo and say what to change: swap the background, restyle a product or add an object. The result keeps the aspect ratio of the last image you uploaded.
Combine a face, an outfit, a product and a setting in one generation, and refer to them in the prompt as image 1, image 2 and so on.
Wan 2.7 Image costs 2 credits at 1K or 2K and Wan 2.7 Image Pro costs 5 at any resolution. Failed generations are refunded automatically.
Choose 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, 3:4, 3:2 or 2:3 for posts, stories, thumbnails, banners and product pages.
Wan 2.7 Image Pro renders finer detail and goes up to 4K for text-to-image. Edits on either model top out at 2K.
